The “Latteria di Borgo Paludo”, as usually called by people of Fagagna, has 21 business partners from Fagagna and bordering districts. The mostly breeded bovine race by this zootechnical companies is the “Pezzata Rossa” (Fleckvieh), followed by Friesian and italian Braunvieh. Each breeder who become a business partner of co-operative Borgo Paludo has received and signed the internal regulation where has accepted all the main rules and arguments that have to respect and that will be verified by a surveillance commission designated by the dairy. In this regulations are listed all foods che can or cannot be used to feed livestock, the hygienical-sanitary and chemical-physical features for milk, periods when corn or grass silage can be used, correct procedures for milking, hygiene and cleanliness of udders, ecc...
